NO
I guess I'll be the dude to say it despite him not being an athlete: Joe Paterno :francis:

Came to say this. Despite having a little success after jail, his image was and is beyond recovery in the mainstream. He was what Cam was last year times 10 before the dog fighting shyt came out. Usually winning makes all the negatives go away but not in his case.

You could name a bunch of guys who became the face of the MLB steroids era. Pete Rose as well.
I remember Vick was by far the most popular football player once his era. TOok Va Tech to the national championship and was drafted no. 1 overall. All the sports jockeys and media was hyping him up as a player who would revolutionize the position.

He was player thst "defensive coordinator hsve nightmares planning for". Everyone in va and Atlanta had his jersey in some form. He haad the endorcements and single-handedly resurrected the Falcon franchise. I believed he was the highest paid footballer at that time.

THEN everything came crashing down from the dog fighting ring. Ain't no athlete fell harder the next Vick in terms of his image, his money, his prestige, and potential. He will forever be stigmatized from that. Only athlete who was that popular and fell worst was Oj.

The Yay
you prolly right

but Priest Holmes was arguably best running back in NFL for 3 years then never got 1000 yards again and was out the NFL two years later.
both of them dudes benefited from that beastly oline. holmes did back up larry for 3 years after those years and then retired, then larry retired

I remember arguing with this poster named Larry David (possibly @BLAZO da GAWD ?) and he was saying larry johnson was better than Gore and I was like :stopitslime:

Tiger Woods. Never seen someone fall so hard so fast. Dude went from winning in every aspect of life to loosing his family and not winning another major championship in golf.
