was quoting you on Priest Holmes
you prolly right

but Priest Holmes was arguably best running back in NFL for 3 years then never got 1000 yards again and was out the NFL two years later.

Some of y'all don't know what a fall from grace is SMH. Talking about Wade/Random NBA players, when you got Hernandez and Tiger right there/

Woods doesn't count, he dominated his sport for over a decade before the fall. And I'm not counting Rousey either because she was a bum from the start and barely qualifies as a competitive athlete to me.

I'll go with RG3. Breh was on the verge of pure superstardom. He was media savvy in one of the biggest media markets in the country, he flashed immense talent, had a perfect story, was "the man" to a huge national fanbase, etc. Now it's all gone. Yea injuries played a role but his attitude was the driving factor.

I wonder if things would have played out differently if he went to the Colts. Smaller spotlight, pressure but not as much...

First one I thought of was Derrick Rose. Rose was a top 5 player and MVP after his 3rd(?) year with an incredible trajectory until injuries.

Ricky Hatton another one that comes to mind.

And the correct answer is.....
Lance Armstrong

to me its Armstrong, this guy ran a 8 figure foundation and turned out to be a massive piece of shyt. hes basically abolished from life, i mean he cant walk around without being scared some stranger is gonna jaw him. Tiger may not be beloved, but hes not loathed like Lance is
How is this not the consensus? If the equivalent happened in basketball, this entire thread would be flooded with nothing but Michael Jordan mentions. All these other sportspeople mentioned in here still have whatever accolades and achievements their "grace" was built upon in tact; at the very least their names still mean something in their respective sports, despite whatever fall they succumbed to. Armstrong went from one of the most dominant, iconic and respected athletes of all time, to not existing overnight.

Quickest? Worst?

Nah,

He was arrested for murder years after he retired from the NFL as a potential hall of famer.

Beat the case, became a false martyr in the black paradigm and didn't eventually have a complete collapse until a decade after.

He shouldn't be listed here.

Now, Aaron Hernandez, yes.

Tiger Woods, literally right after the infidelity embarrassment - he had a crazy drop.
