Some of the worst responses ever on this thread.

Anyone mention Greg Oden yet?

Derrick Coleman

nikkas who know basketball know he's at the top of the list.
First name that popped in my head. After that 80some mill contract (crazy money at the time) dude started gettin flabby and sick. Oh and Darius miles. I thought he was gonna be the next KG.

Like others have already said Derrick Coleman should be at the top of this list. He easily should have been a 25 and 12 type if he wanted it enough and should have been the standard barrier for what power forwards could do. Tim Thomas was a disappointment too in that he could have been a top 10 player if he would have worked hard enough. Stanley Roberts was another player who wasted a lot of his potential and should have been a dominant big man. Eddy Curry could have been the best center in the league if he cared to stay in shape and didnt eat everything that wasnt nailed down. For the talent that he has OJ Mayo should be a better talent then what he is. No reason why he shouldnt be a 22ppg scorer right now in the league.

A better question would be who did the most with their talent? Because while some people are mad at the answers in here, some of the posts are dead on.

I think the criteria needs to be established. To me the list should only be players with all-star/superstar talent, but role player status. Players that were stars/all-stars but not HOF status don't count. I don't think that you can really count players that really had no talent outside of size and athleticism, either.

With that said, I'm adding to my list of LO...

Tim Thomas
Randy Foye
Bynum
Jeff Green
Blatche
Beasley
I'm gonna say Jamal Crawford
JR Smith (but these 4 are idiots, but Crawford has hella turned it down)

I hear you but at least Lamar was a KEY CONTRIBUTOR on a few contending teams and won a championship (i think) with the Lakers. I would say he reached about 65% of his potential
:what:This is the second time you said some shyt any NBA fan should know.
Along with not knowing where Parsons signed in the off season:scust:

:wtf:

He was close to dominant when healthy, not his fault his body gave out, and he did more for the league outside the US than anyone can imagine.
Breh fools in here naming Bynum and others players who cant control getting injured.

Derrick Coleman
Rasheed Wallace
Stephon Marbury
Shawn Kemp
Antoine Walker

This is based only from what I saw

:camby:

Webber at least made 6 All NBA teams.

Sheed made zero

Sheed (along with Billups) led his team to a ring and was a 4x all-star. And he didn't choke in big games.

Webber was a choke artist and would've been a better player if he applied himself more and showed some balls in the 4th quarters of games.

a) Sheed nutted up in game 7 against the Lakers when he was the featured player. 100% fact. He missed 2 big free throws and struggled big time.
b) Sheed never averaged 20 points a game in his career.
c) Sheed never averaged 10 rebounds a game.
d) Sheed never made an All NBA team

Chris Webber was by far a better player than Sheed. Do not sully Webber by comparing the two and saying Webber wasted his talent.

Sheed didnt even want to be the featured player for his teams. At least Webber was in a position to choke. Sheed didnt want to be the man on his teams.
