Just one ring to their name as the number one option, who out of the all time great ringless squad has the best case
for top 10 all time. The "as the main man" factor is important because ring chasing and winning one on the way out while :flabbynsick:does not move the kneedle

Personally I think it's Elgin Baylor. He's being to more finals than anyone else on the list (7) and his the body of work stacks up greadtly against anyone.

Whoo's your pick

I, for one, welcome our new space overlords.
Karl Malone

He'd likely be considered a top ten player of all time if he had led the Jazz to just one championship. His career was incredibly impressive:

- 2x MVP

- 14 All-NBA teams (including 11 First Teams)

- 14 All-Star teams

- 4 All-Defense teams

- 25.0 PPG/10.1 RPG/3.6 APG career average

- Averaged 20+ PPG in 17 seasons, including 20.6 PPG in one of the slowest-paced leagues ever in his age 39 season while playing 81 games

- Was the best player on thirteen 50+ win or equivalent teams, including three 60+ win teams (two of which made the Finals)

1994 and 1995 were “top 10-15 GOAT” invitationals for:

Hakeem
Barkley
Robinson
Malone

Mind you, this was before LeBron, Shaq, Duncan, Kobe, etc., so someone like Hakeem (who won the invitational) has conventional been viewed as top 10… but has essentially been pushed out of it as time goes on, many probably have him outside of it now.

You’re not gonna stay top 10 with just 1 or 2 titles, not anymore. But Malone likely would’ve been in Hakeem’s spot or thereabouts
