Gotta say Doggystyle...its the only album on the list I felt every song could be singles like thriller

shyt imagine a track like murder was the case being played on the radio...with a music video too...dark ass video

GRODT is the first and only album in the club i ever heard the DJ play every fukking track and mfrs vibed to it...and i def didnt think all those joints could be released as singles lol

Mainstream Hip Hop albums I'd go...

Doggystyle- Snoop Dogg
All Eyez on Me- 2 Pac
Country Grammar- Nelly
Get Rich or Die Trying- 50 Cent

All the above-mentioned albums had several singles that were commercial smash hits. Other albums that came close with commercial appeal...

Good Kid Mad City- Kendrick Lamar
Carter 3- Lil Wayne

Voted for 50 because GRODT got universal love, all tracks were potential hits and it catapulted him to global superstardom.

you had people in South America, Europe, Asia and Africa knowing all the hits word for word. In da club is one of the most known hip hop songs of all time

Ft. Stewart, Ga

This album had the critical acclaim
The sales
Iconic music videos
The crossover success
Plus CLEANED UP at every awards ceremony and made history at the Grammys. Just like :mj: did with Thriller

Thriller had two number 1 singles (Beat It and Billie Jean) Speakerboxxx/Love Below had two number 1 singles (Hey Ya & The Way You Move)

Thriller topped the Village Voice’s Pazz and Jop poll of 1983. Speakerboxx/Love Below topped the exact same list in 2003.

Thriller was MJ’s first number 1 album as a solo artist. Speakerboxx/Love Below was Outkast’s first number 1 album.

Michael Jackson was only the second Black pop artist to win the Grammy for AOTY in 1984. Outkast became only the second (and to date last) Hip Hop artists to win the Grammy for AOTY in 2004

The fact that this album isn’t includes in the poll is criminal.

chronic, 36 chambers, doggystyle, grodt can be considered the thrillers of rap

but there’s nothing that’s had the success or impact as thriller imo. nothing even close. we might never get that in rap.
