the the older your car is the shorter terms you want to do. I`m just speaking on a 4-5 yr term it would be wise to do more than 1-2 yrs old. 3-4 yr old cars you should do 1-3 yr terms, but IMO financing a car thats more than 4 yrs old for more than 12 months is dumb.

Oh OK never heard that...I've only financed 1 car and it was only a year old. I want a tundra but because of price was going for a 2013...I was going to finance for 60 months because I heard they are long last trucks and I was planning on keeping it for awhile

Could be a stretch w/ reliability at this point. I'd see if you can track down the maintenance records of any of these models and see what's been replaced. Their transmissions don't seem to be the best, or their electrical systems.

Did you miss the part where I said that I literally just did that :heh:
And I'll be done paying for it in under 3 yrs :myman:
Not sure whether the company that financed me or not is 'reputable' or not but I've never had a prob with them so I don't give a sh!t :heh:
I don't even know what my interest rates were all this time :lupe:
But I don't give a sh!t :pachaha: because I'm almost free :blessed:
Which kinda makes me not want to get another whip just yet, wanna see a few of these checks looking like when there AINT car payments coming outta them :patrice:

It does sound kind of bass ackwards though when you put it like that breh :mjcry:

I`m just going to assume you are under the age of 25.

What I`m saying will make more sense when you are older and have better credit and more income.

Not a diss, but I can tell you are young so you just gotta learn the hard way.

the following things will not match together:

- your desired car
- your price range
- your financing strategy
- the quality of car you're checking (due to your price range), look at those odometer's fam

Don't mustangs die around 200k anyways? Or am I way off with this?

I've been looking for about a month now, and it's not uncommon to come across a Mustang with 200K+ on it for sale :lupe:

Which ones?
I know, of course, the ones like 120,000+ need to be taken with caution.. but if they're reliable cars, then anything under 120k shouldn't be too bad breh :lupe:

I'm trying to save you breh. anything higher than 50k on the miles looking at serious wear and tear buddy.....

Trust me I would know.

You're telling that to a guy who's never bought a vehicle that had less than 100k on it breh :heh:

All I've owned is high mileage cars, and I've never had major maintenance issues.

Like I said earlier, when it comes to high mileage cars ya just have to be careful of what type of car you get.

Some cars will run forever when taken care of :manny:
All cars aren't like that :manny:
I'm hoping 'stangs are :sadcam:

you laughing but your talking about how you can't afford a 10k decade old car with 100k miles on the dash.

Only person that thinks that sounds logical would be a teenager or an adult who has lived a life of terrible financial decisions.

Someone with common sense would not be making a decision this idiotic but get it how you live.

WAKE THE fukk UP MY DUDE.... :mindblown: they are mustangs!!!! who knows how many things your gonna have to replace with the suspension and engine parts. You have no idea!!!!

Granted the first owners was probably cool drivers but come on son, these are mustangs... :comeon:

My charger 07, great car is showing it's age now where i have to fix the old control arms and upgrade the coilover system. and my water pump just shyt the bed a day ago so I gotta get that fixed.

The fixes are easy, parts are easy to buy, but it's an annoyance because it wears down on you. I was gonna trade up after 2 years once i finish paying it off but my car came with 80k miles. just imagine you buy a full blown mustang with over 110k miles on it...

:francis: get something more affordable with less miles like a maxima...
