Mark Cuban just came out and said the NBA would of encouraged Kaepernick and had his back 100% with his protest.

So my question is who do you think is the NBA equivalent player to Kaepernick. Someone who definitely deserves to be a starter but isn't a game changer anymore. Someone whose had success in the past and is still young enough to have success.

Who would you compare him to? I was gonna say Melo, but melo is a first ballot HOFer and obviously Kaep isn't. And do you think ex NBA players would be c00ns and throw that player under the bus or would the NBA support him 100%?

Old school heads like Craig Hodges's and Chris Jackson. Today's NBA don't have too many real dudes who stand for injustices. Wearing a t-shirt during warm ups isn't standing for injustice.

I don't agree with Cuban at all, Mark Jackson still doesn't have a coaching job in the NBA because he openly expressed his belief in Christ when they knew he was a Minister since the 80's/90's.

Are asking whether the NBA would support a player that chose to protest the way Kaepernick did by not standing for the anthem?

Well, that, I don't know. Depends on what you mean by support. The actual league would be fining the player every game.

I'm sure other players would probably get into the player's ear about finding another means to protest since it'd be costing them an exorbitant amount of money throughout an 82-game season. Not every guy has LeBron/Conley money.

NBA players like to do superficial things they know will get people clapping for them but dont actually put themselves at risk. Kap has done more than any NBA player i can think of in a sport that is much more restricted that the NBA.

NBA players will wear hoodies and shirts and make Instagram post once in a while. Thats about it, KAP is out here making white people uncomfortable.

Since Kap isn't in the NFL...

Historical comp. = Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf. He got fined, but apparently worked out a compromise w/ the league and at least had two (?) more seasons after his display.

CP3 led the Clippers to give Donald Sterling the :camby:?

Hawks to :camby:Danny Ferry in the Luol Deng situation?
