Only way Melo winning a title would be the biggest is if he knocked Lebron out in the NBA FINALS.... which, is impossible, since they both in the east....
If the Knicks beat the heat in the East Conf Finals, nobody will give a fukk about the NBA finals really.... That IS the NBA finals (if the knicks beat the heat, that is)... that is the Climax of the "story".... ever read a book? Seen a movie?? That'd be like the villian dying with 30 minutes left in the movie instead of 5... Nobody gives a fukk about him bringing NY it's first title LIKE THAT...

If they keep up this current pace, and the: TD record Falls, the Yardage mark falls, the all time scoring mark falls.... EVEN IF THEY DON'T GO 19-0 (which is a 50% probability at this point).. If they go like 18 - 1...
Manning wins the title and takes down even 2 of those records, it'll go down as the Greatest season a NFL team / QB has EVER had... It'll be right there with the 1996 bulls that went 72-10. (not to mention he'll now be the greatest QB of all time in many eyes)
Manning will be MVP, Superbowl MVP and win a superbowl while taking down all time records... That doesn't happen often in FOOTBALL...
If manning goes 19-0 and breaks yardage / points / TD record, wins MVP / SB MVP... It'll be BY FAR the best season a sports star as ever had in any Sport... Even much better than Jordans best season.

look how much attention the Knicks get on espn and their national radio shows and we haven't won a title . Anything in NYC / la becomes a bigger deal breh Melo would be given a statue in front of the garden , the Coli would shut down for weeeks. By the way most football records aren't that big of a deal besides to sports fans
