Meganium the gawd :blessed:

Meganium with Earthquake

Gen 1 and 2 you can't really go wrong with any of the starters.

Pokemon after Gen 3 is:scust:.

Gen 2 has the easiest elite four and Gen 3 has the hardest but since FireRed and LeafGreen are Gen 3 but have the same elite four as Gen 1, Gen 3 covers both Kanto and Hoenn elite fours.

Steven is the hardest for me of any elite four. Steel type is hard enough already but then he's got Metagross and Skarmory who both have a second typing thats super effective on fighting types. The only fire types available are Blaziken, Camerupt, Torkoal, and Magcargo so unless you have one of those you probably don't have a type advantage. Lance is easy compared to Steven cause Dragonite goes down easy to ice and Charizard and Aerodactyl can only take one surf.

Dont forget abilities added in Gen 3 made Gengar unaffected by Ground type moves which used to be its weakness.

Agree with the meganium love.:salute:

But I disagree with Steven being the hardest gym leader. I always thought Cynthia was the hardest. That spirit tomb and milotic, took forever to takedown. Then she goes in with the garchomp:wow:.

But Steven as a regular trainer :wow:

It was Infernape, Garchomp, Luxray, Gardevoire, Milotic, Staraptor. I'm not shytting on ur post outside of Emp:flabbynsick:eon still. I hate that Pokemon. The only water type I refused to use after my first playthrough.

As far as hardest Elite 4 I can't think of which one was the hardest but the latest generation was laughably pathetic:shaq2:

Damn though let that nikka breathe. :russ:I'll admit he isn't even In my top 3 water starters. Swampert was my absolute favorite. The only way empoleon has worked for me was I maxed out his defense and special attack. Empoleon was the worst out of those 3. And I just loved water starters. Empoleon had bad typing. Infernape was fire. I'll admit. He made shyt hectic. Garchomp is OP now. Especially since mega evolutions. Same with Gardevoir.this generations game felt dumbed down. It should have. Been harder. Now all these normal type Pokemon are fairy types. And that shyt shook everythin .

Dragon pokemon were like super effective against everything:francis:

Gary had your number with Blastoise if you had Charizard, a Venasaur if you had Blastoise and a Charizard if you owned Venasaur.
You needed to catch legendary pokemon to beat that nikka.

I haven't played pokemon since the first gen though

Well dragon types are still weak to dragon, ice, and now fairy types. Gary wasn't super hard to counter at times. I'd have blizzard on blastoise, or solar beam on charizard, or earthquake on venusaur, or a rock Pokemon.

Gen 4 Diamond & Pearl

I swear it took me close to forever to beat the elite four in those games, no joke. That's probably because I made the dumb decision of choosing Turtwig as my starter the first time around. Then, I just restarted the game just to get a Chimchar. I eventually won that with that.

Garchomp is OP now. Especially since mega evolutions. Same with Gardevoir. this generations game felt dumbed down. It should have. Been harder.

I disagree with Garchomp being OP nowadays, if anything he's easier to kill now than ever. Prior to Gen 6, I'd agree with you, but his mega evolution cut down his speed by a pretty sizable amount in my opinion. Then there's the fact that there's all these weaknesses to Dragons nowadays.

I definitely agree with you on these games being dumbed down though. You'd think they'd be way harder with all these new things being added to the game.
