Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
My career as an auditor has come to an end. I am transitioning away.

Right now NBC has a position for financial analyst and my current media company has a manager, Data Analytics role.

What y’all think?

ayo congrats, im trying to get into a financial analyst position myself, so im biased

but it would depend if you gotta move also, would nbc be covering relocation costs? what are the advantages/disadvantages of each position? managers earn more but is the pay = the work?

i would say the job your at now may be more secure..?

No NBC is right here in nyc no relocation.

My current media company is known for paying below the market hence the reason they struggle to hire people.

I think if you haven’t been on a financial analyst track then you should go with analytics. You probably aren’t since you‘re an auditor.

Is there a reason you’re considering the FA role? Do you know where you want that to end? (IB,PE,M&A).

Also being in your late 20+ as a first year analyst sucks phallus. they all think you’re a fukkup.

go with analytics Or go back to school.

I want the analytics role for sure. But NBC just sent an email.

Only thing is I know it’s going to be much harder impressing the data hiring manager over the financial analyst manger
