People see the 50 TD's and 16-0 and automatically give it to Brady. If you look deeper into the numbers, both Manning and Rodgers' seasons were better than his. I broke the shyt down on the old site, but I refuse to get into this argument again, so I'll just leave it at that.

There's a reason Peyton 04 season is still the best of all time going by Passer Rating

After last year the "Peyton is only good in domes" myth is dead forever. Now the jury is still out on the "Brady can't win a superbowl without tapes" theory

Without looking at stats and all the other bullshyt, I would have to say that season that Brady's fakkit ass was throwing bombs to Moss. Every other play seemed like a touchdown...I hated that pats team.

I've always thought Dungy's lack of killer instinct held that team back. His philosophy permeated that team and was why they always lost to the Pats in the playoffs who would knock out their mom to win. The only time they beat the Pats in the playoffs was the one time Bill flinched.

For me personally, I put an asterisk on the 2011 season due to the lockout which greatly effected defenses moreso than the offense.

LOL at Matt Stafford throwing for 41 touchdowns. C'mon.

Oh yeah, voted for Brady. His season was far more impressive considering the weather he was playing in in the latter part of the season. Manning 2004 played 11 games in a dome and the most inclement weather he played in that season was at Chicago in 50 degree, low wind weather.

Marino 1984 a close, close second. Could even be 1B.

No one is saying Manning isn't good outside, he just isn't as good. Brady's stats in domes are absolutely insane. Give Brady a dome for 11 games in 2007, would his touchdown count still be at only 50?

Marino. Did it before the modern passing offense had evolved into fruition. No one had a west coast offense back then except the founder, Bill Walsh. Defenses could rough up receivers a lot more then. QBs could get hit. TD and yardage records weren't broken until about 25 years later. Marino's was the most impressive.

:wtf: is Donovan McNabb's season doing on this list?

Are you saying Brady could potentially throw 55-60 TD's if he played 11 games in a dome?

Remember Manning threw almost 80 less passes than Brady yet had 1 fewer TD, despite kneeling against the ravens and not playing in the denver game the last game of the season.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying.

Lets also not forget Edge ran for over 1500 yards, which created more passing opportunities by opening the defense up.

Brady had to throw that many times because the short passing game was basically their run game. I don't put much stock into the passing attempts for that very reason.

I broke this debate down to the nitty gritty a couple years back on FootballsFuture forum. I can't for the life of me find that post, though.

Damn near half of Brady's TD's went to one receiver and they were chucking until the very end. Peyton produced three WR's with 1000 yards, three WR's with over ten touchdowns. And sat a whole game. shyt is unreal.

If we want to bring up inclement weather, A-Rod completed at a higher passer rating and completion percentage in Lambeau. Driver, Jones, and Jennings all had worse seasons than the ones they had before, and the their run game was even worse than the Patriots, 1800 to 1500 with 250 of it coming from Rodgers himself.

I honestly don't even consider 2007 to be Brady's best season :yeshrug: That wasn't Tom Brady dominating, it was the New England Patriots dominating. 2010 was a better year. The numbers aren't close, but look what he had to work with. Throwing 3900 and 36 tds without anything resembling a #1 WR is :whew:
