If lynch was projected for the 2nd or 3rd round, then sure, but as the supposed #1 qb prospect coming out, he got shut out by a .500 auburn team, got limited against temple, lost against navy, etc. He's a measurables qb with questionable accuracy. I can't see him as the #1 pick.

The bolded are players I consider draftable. I would draft Cardale Jones in the 4th; Conor Cook in the high 2nd; Goff in the high 1st; Wentz in the high 2nd; Boykin in the high 2nd; Brissett in the low 2nd; Kessler in the 2nd/3rd; Prescott in the 4th; Ruddock in the 4th; Lynch in the mid 1st.

Rudock maybe, but not Coker. Coker is not as good as McCarron when he left Alabama. Coker is a 5th rounder/UDFA on talent alone.

There isn't a name on that list, that gives a team a chance to immediately turn it around.
Plus. The problem is that many of those QBs don't run a pro-style, under center offense. That aspect alone makes it harder to project what type of pro they will be. Footwork struggles and coverage reads are a muthafukka.
But I do think that teams will give Goff and Lynch a shot to compete for a starting position. All the others are more then likely in the 4-7 "depth" finding rounds.

That's a simplistic way to look at a draft prospect. Cal stinks, all those losses were against teams better than them.
You can have a Connor Cook because "he's a winner", I'll take the talented guy and hope I build a better team around him.

I think Goff can develop into a good starter. Although he suffers under pressure, he already has the strong pocket presence fundamentals to overcome his struggles in a year or two. Lynch meanwhile is a good look because he took his Memphis team pretty far. In other words, Lynch can elevate the talent around him, which is what a top 10 QB does in the NFL. Both Goff and Lynch are first rounders for me.
However I wouldn't draft Cook in the 1st round. He makes too many mistakes.
