The south. It's like nikkas got they own hip-hop economy down there & they older, more washed rappers get crazy love from fans. Even if they're nobody to the average hip-hop head.

Nobody can tell me why the south runs hip hop without this hype or other erroneous assertions
Where is cash out? Where is lil flip? The south don't support garbage we support good music, and judging by all of our artists getting play EVERYWHERE so does the rest of America. Who does New York have selling out arenas other than Jay-Z? Dave East? Troy Ave? Papoose?

Ya'll talk overseas but we all know they're behind 10-15 years so nikkas really go overseas to relive the past glory days.

Prolly the westcoast, they seem to be the only region where younger artists respect their old heads. Dudes like YG, Kendrick, Ty Dolla Sign etc. will show love for dudes like Snoop, Too Short, E-40. The south got legends too but from my view it seems their shorties don't really respect them if they aren't named Gucci and Wayne. I couldn't imagine somebody like Thug or 21 Savage going out of their way to show respect to someone like Uncle Luke or Mystikal.

Easily the West Coast. Even other regions respect their legends. How many artists have had E40 on a track? Drake rapped a whole Rappin 4 Tay verse on a top 40 single.
