you sir have never played 2k online....

This.

I only play 2k online with my nikka @Midwest ..we actually play real ball..12 mins of pure simulation. I refuse to let one of these nikkas ruin my day full court pressing from the 1st to the 4th, driving all game with lebron/kd/westbrook/etc and shooting 90 shots with either of those guys and making 45 of em because default 2k promotes it. I watched it happen to a nikka playing on my account and that was when I said nope, that's never happening to me...I watched a nikka score 90 with westbrook driving to the paint all game...1 vs 5...I never played another online game against random ppl after witnessing that shyt back in 2k12.

played 5 seasons, that shyt is glitched

they run the same cheap plays

there is this slant the cpu does that makes my corner freeze for a split sec and he is a 97 overall 5 year senior corner

i blitz and my linebackers just magically get caught up by the o line

the QBs always throw the ball away at any sense of a blitz, unrealistically

game is wack but its fun at the same time :wow: The John Cena of sports games

also the score of most of my games are always like 60 to 50 something

Well there is your problem right there. If your blitzing with one person doing a slant, your asking for trouble; thats a quick play in a audible most of the time, built for blitzes. At most you should only blitz ONE defender, and the rest you play in Cover 2 or 3. If you have a Senior, dont be afraid to double man coverage. Also if it's a Pass play, I never shift with the D-Line but instead with my Linebackers to the direction of where I think the pass is going.

Take it like this. Take 3-5 minutes to understand what playbook the team uses. You can easily do this by looking at the stats of the WR and HB.
  • If the HB has more running yards than receiving, your dealing with a power team most of the time. Look at the broken tackles of him, and the more you see, the more you understand if he is a strong dude; one which might take more than one man.
  • If the HB has a balanced amount of rush-passing yards, you could be dealing with a West Coast offense; one that employs more short routes and less play action.
  • If the WR has a couple of 20+ yard plays, they could be a playaction threat meaning you shouldn't be playing Coverage and instead more man.
  • If WR has maybe one or two, chances are they could be viewed as a threat but you should be safe.
No matter what though, if they are running slants, run Coverage plays like Cover 2 or funky plays that have a linebacker rush the weak side; the one without the TE. Because man coverage against the slant is very hard, unless you know it's coming and play press coverage. With Coverage, at least the linebacker can do a Rocket Jump for a INT.

As for me I just have NCAA 13, but the system is the same none the less.

Honestly you should just join a league or a community. I became a madden snob back in like 2004 :dead: and just started sticking to leagues. For each version of madden that means I ultimately only play with 2 or 3 teams max but oh well. Much better than wading through that sea of foolishness.
Which one you currently playing? 13 or 25?

I don't play with Sliders. I just go Heisman all day with my Wisconsin Badgers. Play to what your comfortable. For me I like do what they do, kill you with a hammer.

If they play 3-4 run the ball, if they play 4-3 check for playaction. If two linebackers pinch in the inside for a suspected blitz, but move back, do a "fake" audible to see if they come back. If they show blitz, and I am running the ball, audible for a quick short pass to a WR for a good gain. If it's a playaction call, watch BOTH Safeties to see if they are in the middle. If they are IN the middle, they are playing coverage and the PA wont work. Now if one is showing favorability to one side, that could mean two things.
  1. My WR is getting double coverage
    1. If that's so, and if you have a interior WR, shift him to the other side; if the CB follows, he is in man coverage and if not, he is playing a zone.
      1. If he IS in man coverage, and the LB shows blitz, force your WR to slant where YOU think the LB is blitzing. Chances are you have a blitz called on you.
  2. Or That CB is going to blitz.
If you call a fake audible, and there is no blitz, a PA call is a good choice in either 4-3 or 3-4 sets; but just beware a tad if its 3-4 because that is a base built for passing. If the safety is in MAN, pump fake to him to make him stop and then lob the ball if your WR is streaking.

Every play in football can be for a big gain, if you read the def or offense well. Some people, they just pick a play and just play. Football is a game of chess.
