Malta likes the Suns.
I have no idea. LAC doesn't want to trade Griff.
LAL ain't tryna pay Melo the max and want to wait to get K. Love.

Melo is looking like his best options is either Phoenix or stay in New York.
Even if Dirk takes a major paycut, Melo still can't get more than 10 mil.

Melo fukked himself up. Malta is probably right, trade Melo/Shump to Phx for Okafor/Bledsoe/the three 1st in 2014 and move on.

But NYK isn't trading Melo so it is what it is.

Way too much for the Suns to give up, especially when he probably isn't staying.

none you'd like
Here's a crazy one: the T-Wolves. :mjpls:

Obviously, he's probably not gonna re-sign, but they aren't going anywhere regardless, so why not go for broke this year? After he bolts, put Love on the block and start from scratch. :manny:

Melo & Shump for Brewer, Bazz, Martin, Moute, Dieng, Cunningham, Shved & picks.

Because of what you just said. If they're not going anywhere regardless, all they're doing is setting up a scenario where they still might not make the playoffs, they lose everybody, and now (since you threw in Dieng, Muhammad and picks too), now there's no way to add any players at all moving forward. After Melo, Love, and Rubio all leave you're left with Pekovic in Seattle.

Not to mention, Melo wouldn't fit in Adelman's offense and even worse, he renders Rubio useless.

Also, NY would just ask for Love or Pek/Rubio.

No more than one first round pick, especially if it's a 2014 one, then some second rounders. If NY wanted Rubio, I'd move him to make this trade happen. He still can't shoot and like you said, he'd be pointless on that team. Get Udrih in return.

Udrih/Shump/Melo/Love/Pek with Budinger & Barea off the bench would be a pretty good top 7. As long as they got into the top 6 and avoided OKC and SA in the first round, they could beat anyone.

Again, if they can't convince Melo to re-sign, put Love on the block and rape some other team for assets and start from scratch.

Then you have a worse team. No one would play defense besides Shumpert (and he's been erratic at that this season).

That team sucks and I'll tell you why (besides what I've already said about the defense and scheme and all that)

The team's biggest issue besides rim protection is BENCH scoring. Melo doesn't fix that. The Wolves starters I believe are 2nd in the NBA in scoring. Their bench is 3rd to last I believe if not lower. Dealing off the Brewer's and Shved's I wouldn't miss them, but it also requires Flip and Rick to a) find bench players and b) play them. If they could do it, they shoulda been doing that a long time ago.

and no offense to you, but I don't think anyone here has seen JJ since the 2011 Finals because he's been trash here, especially this year.

Lastly, there is no more rebuilding. It's probably gonna happen again soon, but who would care? The same people responsible for this 10 year decline would be responsible for having to build it up again. Who would they be fooling? Until the owner dies, they could draft Wiggins Embiid and Parker and ruin all three of them.
