Which "term" should black people use to call each other?

the point is to have a term we can say amongst each other without outside groups feeling like they can use it too. of course it's in poor taste to suggest we find another dehumanizing term to call ourselves, but it's kind of annoying that non-black people don't think twice about letting "nikka" fly out of their mouths, I don't mind so much when other select minority groups use it, but it really rubs me the wrong way when white people do and the ways they justify doing it.

I'm going to assume you're young. Other than calling people by their names, how about the words sir and ma'am. You can show respect without having to resort to calling everyone nikka. If it's one of your boys you can use bro, boss, homie, kid, guys, etc. If it's a girl or women, ladies works fine. Not no bytches, thots, hoes, skanks. Unless it's a jumpoff or other sex only female. You don't see other ethnicities calling each other spics, chinks, crackers, or anything like that. The word nikkas was made cool to be used by society. There's no need to be cool.

I wonder if by deciding that "nikka" has become a played out term – as a collective – can force us to create a new term to call ourselves. Sort of like an organic extinction of the era when black people used a variation of the n-word to refer to each other.
