I wanna use it for 4k movies primarily gaming secondary.

I have a ps4 so dont suggest it?
Will be getting a 4k tv sometime this summer.

I dont know if 4k movies quality is diff on the x cuz of power or the same cuz of Optical drive.

I'll game when I'm in those gaming moods.

Its extra money since my kids pissed me off and act ungrateful and lazy I sold their switch and ps4

Ya I did my research well since my last one broke down and the issue was the s or x either would of been fine but felt get the x in case I do game more eventually since I drastically scaled back gaming.
Just gonna do 1 game at a time almost bought mass effect trilogy but since I dont game as much wanted to wait.
So I got assassin creed origins on this
And God of war on ps4
So I'm set for now
And if anything changes I'll get mass effect trilogy next
