Had a decent season, but Lowry is leaving, and Demar is their best player

Was about 2-3 games shy of missing the offs, lack a franchise player.

Mavs
Dirk is old, they have no young players, and they have no direction.

Suns
A ton of picks, but even if they somehow get Love, they're at best a second round team

All those teams had a chance at the lotto, Chicago and Toronto tried to tank(trading Deng and Gay) but it backfired, Atlanta and Dallas were a few games shy of the lotto.

All those teams had a chance at the lotto, Chicago and Toronto tried to tank(trading Deng and Gay) but it backfired, Atlanta and Dallas were a few games shy of the lotto.

We didn't try to tank, Deng was strictly financial. Tanking would've required us to make more moves to take away things that Thibs could successfully use.

Val was a top 5 pick just a few years ago. Would of gone higher but had buyout issues and teams like Cleveland can't draft. Can also just act like Ross (a top 10 pick) has zero potential and Ujiri can't draft even with mid first round picks. Or they don't got the Knicks/Nuggets pick in 2016 and cap space.

Real treadmill teams don't have 2 young starters with real potential, multiple first rounders and cap space. They could of tanked but they weren't catching the Bucks or Philly. Really doubt they end up with a top 3 pick, prob something like 8th.
