But at least they weren't offensively boring and actually had an ending. Pretty sure Miz/Cena ended with Rock just beating them both up and declaring the match a draw.

No, I think they were both counted out and then Rock came out and said there were no countouts or disqualifications. Then he hit Cena with a Rock Bottom and Miz pinned him to retain the title. Then he attacked Miz after the match and ended the show with all eyes on him.

My favorite part of this match wasn't even part of the match. It was the entrances/intros.
