Which X-writer had the best run post-Chris Claremont?

I think most can agree Chuck Austen was the WOAT. Brubaker's run was underrated to me because I enjoyed Deadly Genesis and The Rise and Fall of the Shi'ar Empire.

Sucks to see what happened to the X-franchise after Marvel decided to put them on the backburner in favor of the Avengers. The glory days are behind us. Bendis is pretty lame with a few positives so far. Jason Aaron is just ass on X-Men.

Liked Lobdell/Fabien Nicieza's stuff....Mark Waid had some good key issues..Gillen's run was very good. He had a plan but it was mostly suited with building up Cyclops even though Unit and his Sinister turned out to be great. Mike Carey PISSED those Twilight type fans of Gambit and Rogue off when he put her with Magneto. LOL. The reaction to when they had sex in Legacy #249. It's one of the funniest threads ever on any forum. They hated on that nygga BIG TIME. As if he was promoting rape and as if he was using Magneto as "his stand in" for the comic. White girls are hilarious in general but especially when they think they have a point.

What was the problem with Rogue and Magneto having sex? They're long time friends, they have feelings for each other, they live under the same roof, they had sex. I don't see why that would be controversial. The fake thing is how little sex goes on in comics. You have all these attractive men and women with perfect physiques and traumatic lives living together and depending on each other to survive. They would be fukking like rabbits.
