You know Google is free?

50 tickets at Barclays going for $130 to $1,500
It was $150+ to see Lil Baby in Dallas last Saturday

It’s $40 to see 50 cent here in Dallas in a few weeks (I have tickets)

And I just double checked Ticketmaster…it’s $70 to go see 50 @ Barclays :stopitslime:

Maybe because 50 has songs people wanna hear performed

Maybe 50’s fan base has aged to the point they are a viable market capable of buying a ticket

Think about that

I guess 50 Cent not being a top tier artist is fake news
He's a legacy artist at this point. Nobody would check for his new albums in the same way. His old hits still have drawing power. There's levels to shyt.

Are yall talking about lil baby and Durk ?

Cause lil baby been out since 2017 and been hot for at least 4 or 5 years and Durk been in the game since 2012

To say these guys dont have established fan bases sounds nuts
It’s unfair they get brought up they was never on 50 level of superstardom, icon, legend

They got a lil ambitious with their tours and what venues they could sell out in certain cities and how much they could charge but that don’t mean they frauds or not extremely popular especially in the culture Coli flabs been having a field day since a few of they shows got cancelled

Fiddy was an actual superstar. I’d be surprised if he didn’t sell out on his tour.

Three things

1. He’s playing various type of venues, including shyt like this FivePoint Amphitheatre - Wikipedia

2. The prices for the tickets were 39-100 bucks for normal tickets, Lil Baby is 100-400 bucks for normal tickets. Average would be interesting, but obviously Baby does not wanna do trash venues and is not for the people (cheap tickets). Dude could probably do SoFi and Cowboys if he charged 39-99.

3. 50 was one of the biggest artists in the world for like 4 years, he’s supposed to do this. Old rock and rnb people aren’t moving tickets cause anybody gives a fukk about their new music, it’s due to their old music and nostalgia.

Having young/teenager fans isn't even a valid excuse for saying they don't have the funds for tickets. Teenagers have been the majority fanbase concert goers for trendy artists since the inception of the popular recording artist.

So now we're back to why? Is it the music has no staying power? Or the fan has no vested interest regardless of the music? Because the artists are staying popular longer, so what is it?
