OK enough is enough. not to say that black LGBTQ folks don't deserve representation, because they do. But damn it , the dominant society is completely trying to destroy the Black man's image by making him appear less as then masculine and patriarchal as possible. They are trying to make the black man completely obsolete in America. America is trying to DESTROY the Black Man.

If you can associate the black man as a rapist, as a robber, a murderer, a down low homosexual, an aids Carrier, an STD spreader, a thief, a liar, a deadbeat dad, as someone who doesn't want to work, as the proverbial Black Boogeyman where all negative qualities can be projected onto, then it's easier for the dominant society and everyone else to wage war on black men and for nobody to come to our defense when the time comes.

You are correct ,,, and I truly understand this scene now as a older coli breh adult

Like @Chrishaune said it's called programming for a reason.

I think people tend to forget how small of a population black men are in America. we are only 6% of the American population. There are many places where we are not seen other than on TV and people will probably never interact with us in their lives.

White people can go years...decades without even interacting with a black person outside of work or talking to an employee or cashier at a store.

So what information do they have to go on when it comes to black men since they don't interact with us in real life?
:patrice:
TV
Movies
social media
advertising
entertainment
sports

I think a lot of you are blissfully unaware of how black men and black women are received outside areas where there aren't that many of us or there are next to none of us.

And stereotypes and programming in the media plays a big part in how black men are received in areas where we are not prevalent.

McDowell's
making them the face? what a ridiculous reach :dead:

and it's one of these weirdo blogs again, got their favorite word "woke" in there also.
The guy below you literally proves the hypothesis. It isn't new but it's exacerbated by modern sensitivity.

Black people, especially men, have been put front and center for trans rights and gay rights. It's not really a debate at this point. When we talk about representation it's usually a black person

And now they are trying to push it into Africa.

What @Seoul Gleou is saying is Black people have become guinea pigs by the dominant society for their gender experiments and I don't like it at all.

Like in TV and movies they always make sure to maintain the white heterogeneous nature of it all making sure the white characters are straight...but somehow the only Black person in the cast is Gay/Lesbian/Bi/Pansexual/Transgender...
:mjpls:

Or their asexual in no relationships with anybody at all.

Straight up and down white society wants Black folk to stop reproducing.

All the roads down this path lead to genocide
- promoting same sex relationships and non-procreative sexual acts
- promoting swirling
- promoting black men making music about unaliving Black Men

When they make ads like this it's like they can't find white models to use? But I know they had no intent of putting a white man in a woman's bathing suit because white men run the show in society and anything that makes their image look weak is not to be tolerated.
