While the n-word seems to be on the decline in Hip-Hop, "fakkit" is resting in peace smh

Do gays even call eachother f@ggots as openly as black people call each other n!gga, tho? :jbhmm:
Either way, I've always called people f@ggots but you'll probably never hear me saying "n!gga". I have my whole posting history on SOHH and here to back that up. Either way while i casually use the word f@ggot all the time i dont think ive ever called a gay person a f@ggot. I mostly use it for and towards people who piss me the fukk off

Yoooo I was just thinking about this on my way to work today too. Only Em, maybe 50, and Tyler really say fakkit in their records anymore. Its sad when gays have more pull than blacks with these kind of things smh

Underground rappers say it all the time. Just very few mainstream rappers can say it.

You must be from up north/west because down here.cacs STILL aren't allowed to say that shyt around these parts of the woods without some repercussions. Whether in a song or otherwise.

So now instead of anyone saying it, it could end your career. Meanwhile, nikka is now being sung along to by 19 year old cacs at concerts.....but they wouldn't dare say fakkit though. Hell, even Kobe got suspended for saying the shyt UNDER HIS BREATH :snoop: Now how in the hell did gays end the use of a slur against them (in all media outlets) in under 10-20 years....:mjpls:
Because you don't have gays walking around calling each other fakkits and claiming it's a term of endearment.

I always knew this one dude I used to rap with was soft... but I recorded a verse on a collab with him once, and when I heard the final mix he had censored where I said 'fakkit'

The whole song was still explicit. Cursing, etc... but he reversed the word fakkit like we were on the radio or something.
:snoop:

He's one of those dudes that was just using hip hop as a stepping stone. He started singing... then he started down a really artsy 'white people look i'm different' kind of path.

It was a mess.
But I'll never forget that one song where he censored fakkit. Nothing he did after that surpised me.

Nah, I'm southern just like you. But up there with New Yawk and them is mainly what I'm talking about.

KRS said it himself back in the day: "Now we got white boys calling themselves nikkas"

Matter of fact, quite a few of them white underground rappers have said in on wax or at shows.

Cage
Necro
Ill Bill
Yak Ballz
Action Bronson

Even El-P who rhymes with Killer Mike of all people dropped it in a song from 93.

All NY rappers too. :sas1: So just imagine how their fans get down.:sas2:

But truthfully, I wouldn't put it past them cacs down here either. shyt is fukked up.
