While the rest of us was watching Chris Rock's special, Will Smith was watching an actual comedian with talent: Jamie Foxx.

David Spade? Dude wasn't even that funny on SNL.

By contrast Adam Sandler had some funny characters. Dana Carvey as well. And the same with Mike Meyers.

Spade though was just an annoying bland snl cast filler with no real talent. And outside of SNL what was his best known character?

Joe Dirt :mjlol:

You ever see a David Spade stand-up? Or an interview?
I’m guessing no.

Like I said - people who are funny are on record talking about David Spade being “one of the funniest people in the room”

was the standup good or nah?

It was on the good side of mid.

I like Chris, but it feels like his schtick doesn’t hit as hard as it used to. I mean, O.J. jokes in 2023 is wild.

Best part was the Will Smith stuff but he legit botched the joke and admitted it on stage lol

That being said, he fried Will and Jada, no way around that. Of course nikkas that sided with Will ain’t going to admit that but he definitely put will in a bodybag.

Which is sad cause I like both these dudes. Hate it came to this.

Nope. Watch Marlon Wayans special. It was a good take on both sides.

Marlon’s was stellar. The best work he’s EVER done

The difference between Rock and Marlon is that Marlon’s comes from a place of referencing his relationships with all three (Jada, Will, Chris) over the past 30 years and how all three of them in some way helped make him a better person whilst Rock’s comes from a place of anger. The last ten minutes of Chris Rock’s set is basically a diss track to both Will & Jada. Its the biggest “fukk You” from a comedian you’ll see in 2023.
