OP you dead on the money with this one. I kept hearing about In and Out as being the GOAT. Tried it, and got a slippery ass half-done burger and some burnt tobacco-tasting fries

If you're from LA you understand the evolution of the place. It was totally different years ago but they had to adjust to the market to stay in business. I actually like them for the customer service and atmosphere. I love the food too but it's still fast food. Fast food can only be so good. El pollo loco is way better than taco bell but it's still just fast food

They closed a lot of Fat Burgers. It cost too much for what tourists expect. You can pay like 20 dollars for a basic meal and shake

I preferred them because their food had flavor, i mean it wasn't the greatest in the world but it was better me.
In and Out was so bland, i didn't even eat half my burger, the fries went in the garbage. Maybe i just lucked out that day, but ill never know since im never having it again.

Cali people always hype of in n out in order to have some type of validity or additional culture in regards to their food. shyt is trash
