The 3 movies will probably set up the final season of the show with Rick coming back to save shyt

If the plan is 3 movies over 6 years it might be short sighted cause can we really see another 5-6 seasons of the walking dead with declining ratings the way they been?

Great episode. Love the callbacks, especially with Shane bringing up Rick tearing dude's throat off with his own mouth. Arguably my favorite seen ever from the Gawd Grimes. I popped out of my seat for that shyt.

I had closed captions on (since sometimes I can't tell wtf Daryl is saying) and saw that they had Morgan and Abe whispering stuff to Rick as he was in/out of consciousness. Was hoping they'd show up too. Sasha being one of the visions was kinda random though versus who they could have gotten lol.

They did have me with the death until Jadis popped back up. Figured the okie dokie was officially coming at that point. He's still alive, all that matters. 3 TV movies next, I'll take it

Judith Grimes though... lol. Poor Carl man. He should have had the baton next. Would have been easier to accept Andrew leaving, if Carl was handed over the reigns. Curious what Angel Kang has up her sleeve though, cause entire season has been good so far.

That big reunion in 4-5 years will be all at once.

Which is why I hate they killed Carl off. Coulda sent him away and have Riggs leave the show.

Like, if you're gonna do a time jump, then have the kid live and you'll cast another kid to be an older Carl.

I believe that Rick was considered an “A” prior to being found half dead. Him being critically injured dropped him down to a “B”.

At the same time the Father was considered a “B” by Janis until he surprised her during their sequence in last week’s episode. Afterwards she said she was wrong and he’s really an “A”.

At least, that’s my interpretation.

My theory on Jadis and the A/B situation:

As simplistic as it sound, I'm thinking as someone else mentioned that

A = Alpha
B= Beta

Rick is an Alpha but not in that injured state, that's why think Jadis said B. I think Negan, Governor, Michonne, Maggie are all A's as well. So I'm guessing the B's are workers and the A's are Leaders. It's probably a secret military community we haven't seen. They were able to medically treat Rick on the Helicopter. So the Films will probably reveal more of course of where Rick goes. Rick isn't going to know where he is so how is it just going to escape to see his family? They basically set up the Movie Plot with that ending. Remember that was a huge timejump because Judith was clearly like 10 years old now.

Damn, Judith about to go hard now. She got Rick's Gun and a small Katana Blade.

Loved this Episode felt like the Season Finale like I said. I don't see how they are gonna top that great Episode.

I guess going in I have had low expectations on this episode due to them fumbling a lot of episodes, but I have give them props because this new showrunner has been doing a great job this year. For the first time in a couple of seasons, I'm actually looking forward to upcoming episodes. I'm not looking forward to the movie though since Gimple's hands will be all over it.

I sound like a MRA when I rant on this shyt, but the whole "insert a girl or woman into a role and call it substance" movement is tired already.

Star Wars, TWD, I'm sure there are more franchises where they thought they were much more clever and groundbreaking than they actually were.

It's pandering, it's lazy, it insults the viewers.

There's no reason Carl should be dead, and Judith alive, other than showrunners forcing bullshyt.

Their gimmicks turn to shyt quickly. Teasing three episodes of material after an ep like that just reeks of desperation.

And why did FTWD even catch up? Just to throw Morgan in? What series will Daryl eventually have for himself?
