you just gonna attempt to pass the buck huh?
Who's feeding that consumer that "gangsta" rap? We both know the answer to that question...and don't quote me unless you got something serious to say fukk boy

...
Whoever owns the labels who make money off it.
Rappers/musicians are only puppets, much like politicians they do whatever the money tells them to. You'll only see more diversity in music independently, but keep on keepin' on.
But I also wanted to go further in on your post...
So likewise our silent on black on black crime, fukked up ass graduation levels, destructive drug culture, our young women turning into hoes earlier and earlier, wack ass music that advocates we sell drugs and kill fellow blacks, is us giving consent as well?
Who benefits the most from the imprisonment of those 'black on black crime' criminals, a majority of them a result of poor education (lack of graduation) and poor job prospects/poverty?
Why wasn't there very much emphasis on 'drug treatment' of heroin in 1965, but a movement towards it in 2015?
Lastly, blacks are NOT silent on any of the stuff you listed. YOU want to not listen or direct your ears towards avenues that will not showcase those voices.
In Milwaukee, a put the guns down rally was held this weekend, speaking on gun violence and all the stuff you mentioned. Black communities all over the USA do the same thing, yet YOU want to conveniently ignore them to fit your narrative.
