90% of London and Canadian slang is Jamaican patois

Nah not that high. A lot of it is cockney as well. Basically a mixture of cockney, jamaican and black american. Nowadays you're getting more African influence as well.

We use bare in Toronto. It's either Toronto or Jamaican slang.

London brehs made it hot. We've been using a lot of the slang for a very long time...however Canadians only recently began using it and always fall back on ''it's Jamaican''.

I went to Canada in the 2000s and they did NOT know most of the slang I was using. I think it came to Canada from Jamaica via the UK.
