Those lyrics are a result of a man becoming enlightened and proud of his people due to gaining knowledge of his (and also the white man's) history in this country. This is why the white man alters and hides the past. They dont want us becoming a proud people. They dont want a resurgence of "black pride" to happen. They dont want us becoming "intelligent" and aware of whats REALLY going on. This is why they intentionally flood the airwaves with puppet rappers who glorify and promote ignorant and destructive behavior.
