As we've seen in this shytfest of a thread, apparently not all black women deserve protecting...BUT ANYWAYS.

The process for interviewing and screening police needs to be made public, and then either heavily revised or (more likely) actually followed in the first place. Most of theses cacs getting caught out aren't first-time offenders or simply having a bad day.

They community has had rumors about this dude for a while now. chicks knew this might even happen to them.


He was going around doing this and as a community there was no initial outrage or protections.

And I don't mean.... .to only protect our young ladies from cacs or outside forces. Most hood chicks I know have been raped or molested, etc... We have to be proactive with issues like this, on a larger scale than we are. ITs so deep that police even know that black women from urban areas are the least likely to report or even tell anyone.

There's plenty to be done. The unifying theme in these rape/sexual assault cases, is that black women (and women in general) feel powerless. They feel that others (men and women) will think they're lying. When black women in particular are portrayed as aggressive or hoes/thots/ratchet/bedwenches - and we as men continue to conflate being "less valuable" as justification for abuse, we give their aggressors more power.

How exactly to change this trend? I don't know. When calling women thots and such becomes neg-worthy - both here and irl - maybe things will change.
