In America we won’t establish proper facilities for these people but at the same time when they are out and about causing chaos among us we pretend they don’t exist. You see a guy yelling at the sky and the polite thing is to ignore them instead of being able to call emergency services because an unwell person is having an episode in public.

I remember going to 16th street mall in Denver and a bunch of yuppies walking around in suits going to fancy restaurants while junkies, mentally ill and scam boys harassing them up and down the block. They just look ahead and ignore them which only makes the junkies more angry. They’d try that shyt with me and I’m like “don’t talk to me” and they scurry away to fukk with the yuppies.

After awhile the yuppies all moved out to Cherry Creek mall. 16th street isn’t a bad spot by any stretch, but it’ll never hit the notes it could because America wants to ignore its mental health crisis like a yuppie.

Like you got these weirdo religious street preachers screaming that we are all going to hell in the middle of a public plaza while we see out with our families just trying to enjoy the day. Any civilized society would take some bats and deal with em the right way and they’d never return.


I live right next to a publicly funded mental health facility in Japan. They take them out around town, get them jobs and just as happy as can be with their helmets and backpacks not a care in the world . Our mentally ill are thrown in the street like animals and ignored until the eventually have a bad day and someone gets hurt.
