I’m saying we should have a better selection of black middle class neighborhoods to move to, instead of having to move to white neighborhoods when we make more money. Home ownership creates communities, and generational wealth. A lot of these parents are renting, while buying luxury goods, and not putting money away for college, and insurance policies. How many of those building are black owned? Even the section 8 houses are owned by white people and Jews.
Most of these white people have parents who owned a home, died, the kids sold the home, and split the money along with an insurance policy.

I have beef with my mom for various reasons, but I will give her credit for setting us up financially when she’s gone. Compare that to my mother in law who still rents, has no interest in a house, and won’t do an insurance policy, or living will because she thinks someone will try to kill her.

crazy thing is game of thrones made me realize how those in power stayed in power. Generations of planning, who their children should marry, who their grandchildren should marry, whose their nephews/nieces should marry, who of all those examples gets what land etc.

Community building is nation craft. When you’re a young man with a skill you should be trying to find a woman with good parents and connections to marry into and see if they can pour into you. You should not be getting with women who come from generations of single motherhood just because her ass is cornbread thick. You are an investment and when you give people returns you can get into better institutions, get better mates, have access to better resources etc
