Notice how he parrots far right wing language and phraseology like "the plantation", to insult liberal/democrat blacks, which at its core is a blatantly subversive slap in the face to all black people. He doesnt care. Religious folks like this clown feel like they have to walk in lockstep with their christian daddies, in order to fulfill their duties in the social holy war.

Black conservatives know they have to tow the line, and mimic the views of a by the numbers deranged right winger. See: Colin Powell for what happens to Black conservatives when they stray too far.

Why don't you keep your discussion focused on topics you have a better grasp on, like Gay Bar Etiquette and things of that nature. Because its clear you have no earthly idea of what your talking about.

You sit and accuse Dr. Carson of parroting conservative talking points, yet anyone with a brain can see you so doing nothing but parroting the talking points of the garbage liberal blogs that are littered across the internet.

My grandfather used to say that he considered the silent/covert racist who undermined blacks was always a worse character than the overt racist that called him a ****** to his face and this was from a guy who saw his brother lynched and was shot twice himself by racist white people. Maybe that is where Carson is coming from with his opinion, especially as a conservative.

You're giving this guy way too much credit. This isnt a meaningful analysis of cross-spectrum racism, and how it can cultivate in seemingly well meaning arenas This is ripped out of the playbook, dog-n-pony show republican hackery.

They are using a black face to re-imagine racism as coming from progressive faces (remember he said white liberals are the most racist), as a way for republicans to not only avoid any social or political commitment to the success of Black Americans, but also to shame Blacks in championing that commitment, and maintain the status quo which works in opposition to the success of Black Americans.

This isnt even mentioning that the conservative party is home to the southern strategy, employing that political feature to the point where they have firm political control of the south, and also the party that cant get enough of demeaning and gravely insulting all minority groups on a constant rotating loop.

Black people have never been ideologically in lockstep with the Democratic or Republican party. We vote for whoever serves our best interests. The current version of the Republican party does not serve our best interests. Instead of correcting the overt hostility expressed towards minorities by members of their caucus, Republicans have spent the last 20 years trotting out diversity candidates. Sometimes they even bus them in (Alan Keyes). Herman Cain, Alan West, Ben Carson all parrot the same talking points.

We can see through the tokenism.

Cosign 100%. I hate covert/silent( I have black friend that I keep at distance) racism which I why somewhat agree with Carson. Really, all white people, and people in general to certain degree are racist for or against there race, that why I prefer people that state things like it is, fukk the PC stuff.
