A plane or the bus is obviously annoying but it's not like they can take the baby off the off the plane mid-flight.

Restaurants and movie theatres are completely different. Parents will regularly remove their kids from the library during childrens storytime of they're crying or acting up. I don't get why it's unreasonable to expect them to do the same elsewhere.

Yeah, a plane is whatever. Get some noise-canceling headphones people gotta travel. But a sit-down restaurant is optional. If the shyt ain't kid focused, leave them at home till they old enough to follow instructions.

It really depends on mgmt and the type of restaurant. Higher class restaurants wont let that slide and will ask the parent to leave. Some restaurants exist purely for the sake of meetings and conversations of adults.


In a chill restaurant, mgmt would ask the man to deal with it and pull out a kiddie stool.


Generally speaking children dont belong in restaurants beyond the fast casual chains. Based on the decor of that restaurant they don't seem like the pretentious type.

Its the same thing with people who bring their screaming baby on a plane for 4-5 hr flights and just force everybody else to deal with it

a plane is different
but a restaurant she can walk outside or get her food to go
