18 U.S. Code § 1503 states that threatening a judge is punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a fine.

In Michigan, violating MCL 750.483a can result in up to one year in prison and a $1,000 fine for a misdemeanor, or up to 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine for a felony.

And he threatened a black female judge, which should be considered a hate crime...

I think they should run up the score to send a message
