Great Posts! All of these Egypt was Black posts are interesting and great to read or learn about. The general public may fall back and ignore or even deny it but to know that this in particular was BLACK....its a damn good feeling. Especially when the "narrative" of our story in popular culture is one of slavery. where their ancestors came from is besides the point. there's not too many theories that say mankind began in Egypt, so any humans there, at any time in history, had ancestors that came from somewhere else

The Egyptians of today are primarily Turkish/Arab blood. They are descents of Ancient Egyptians who were slaughtered and driven off the land. More than likely word spread about how amazing Egypt was back then and how they had the best of everything known to man and these empires made it a goal to take it over as some sort of national treasure.
