White people and coffee

Fairly recently I've had a few white people look at my like this and act like I was a total weirdo because I don't drink/refused coffee. Anybody else get this? I'm wondering if these were isolated incidents or something more...inherent.

I drink coffee. Some white dudes offered and after adding some sugar I liked it because it kept me awake during times where I had graveyard shifts or I had to wake up early for work.

It's a great question. I think part of it has to do with widespread alcoholism. Caffeine and blow both really help with various symptoms of alcoholism. I imagine adderal and meth do too. But this is just me spitballing.

I dont drink coffee either. ironically, last week, I was going on a long car trip leaving at around 8pm, so I actually had coffee for the first time in over 15 years. didn't like it really, however, it did allow me to stay up for the 12 hour drive and then some.
