Hispanic/Latino is an ethnicity. Within it you have a wide range of skin tone. I'm pretty much a white Hispanic. Most Mexican people I know range from light to very, very dark. I knew a Salvadorian who was darker than a lot of black people. Not to mention actual black Hispanics

Where have people been the last 20 years. This is hilarious. Motherfuuckers didn't know that Hispanic is an ethnicity/culture. Which is why census actually calls "normal" white people, Non-Hispanic white. I say "normal" as in English speaking or Non-Hispanic white.
"White" as in Europen derived has not been defined exclusively for about 2 decades. When you see "white" for population and it says 85%, the Non-Hispanic white or "normal European" white may only be 65% of the population.
Folks getting that wake up call.
I'll be honest, I'm not sure how Braxilians are defined in Census since they aren't technically Hispanic, but are Latino.
Also the census allows one to self define, whereas, criminal justice system if they can't eaaily identify you will define you.

Doesnt mean anything if their appearence isnt white. Italians, Irish, and Polish were accepted because they fit the correct appearence but uless hispanics are of 90%+ european blood then 55% just wont cut it.
A lot of people in Spain are mixed with Moors so all of this stuff is stupid.
White Americans don't even know that Spain and Portugal are in Europe. So you know that they don't know that those are White people.
