Because all Latinos are not the same...and they come from different countries...

They have the same thing for Asians...

But States and Institutions don't break it down like that all the time.

Only Blacks and Whites don't have the option to identify where the fukk they come from...on the census I see...

I would thin Caribbean Blacks and Continental Africans would have the option...

Maybe it isn't enough of them...

US Native Born Black should be counted as a distinct group.Sociologists and etc do this.

I know mixed race Blacks are separated from the rest of us...even down to the mixture...on the Census at least.

There are plenty of Hispanics that don't speak Spanish at all. Especially the younger generation. And if you don't speak it often, you tend to lose out on some of the vocabulary and the language over time.

Hispanic/Latino is an ethnicity. Within it you have a wide range of skin tone. I'm pretty much a white Hispanic. Most Mexican people I know range from light to very, very dark. I knew a Salvadorian who was darker than a lot of black people. Not to mention actual black Hispanics
