There are plenty of Hispanics that don't speak Spanish at all. Especially the younger generation. And if you don't speak it often, you tend to lose out on some of the vocabulary and the language over time.

There aren't that many Asians out there with a European background.

There are some Latinos who are straight up white. See Ricky Martin and Cameron Diaz.
