That's been going REALLY well the last couple CENTURIES hasn't it

Because White people for the last couple CENTURIES have been spending their time steeped in Black culture?


This is one of those "White oppression still exists therefore nothing works!" statements.


Obviously, 99.999% of racist White people in the last couple centuries haven't gone within a mile of a Black-owned, Black-dominated cultural venue, much less spent part of every day there. It's not stupid to suggest that spending time steeped in Black culture and Black opinions (not just stanning a rapper or basketball player, but actually getting exposed to the Black diaspora and hearing what Black people think about the world on a regular basis) has a chance of bringing some people out of ignorance.
