JUST LOOK AT THE OPENING POST. DUDE IS ASKING WHY WHITE AMERICA WON'T MAKE MOVIES WITH BLACK HEROES AND SUCH. SAME GOES FOR GHETTOS ACROSS AMERICA. WE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR OUTSIDERS TO COME FIX IT UP AND COMPLAIN WHEN THEY DON'T. YET THE PEOPLE IN THOSE NEIGHBORHOODS DON'T DO ANYTHING. ALL THESE PROJECTS THAT GET FIXED UP EVERY 15-20 YEARS END UP IN THE SAME SHAPE NO LATER THAN 5 YEARS LATER.

ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO IN DETROIT THEY WERE BEGGING PEOPLE TO COME DOWN AND GET FREE GOVERNMENT GRANTS TO FIX UP THEIR OWN HOMES. 3% OF THE ALLOTTED FUNDS ACTUALLY GOT CLAIMED. IT'S ALMOST LIKE WE DON'T WANT TO DO BETTER.

Let black people walk away from Detroit and see if it doesn't get rebuilt. The answer is in self organization and good leadership. Everyone is so busy try a do for self they don't see their power in numbers.

For example you take one dilapidated hood and some able bodied people who live in it to work together and build each others homes up using those grants. Why can't shyt work like that? Am I being simplistic?
