I'm glad i never went to school that employed police officers or security guards. It seems weird to me that this is a common thing.
We just had hall monitors, and teachers overseeing the students.

In college we had campus police. but not in elementary school or highschool. it's kids, they are immature by nature and learning how to be adults. having cops there just escalates matters and provides unneeded permanent consequences. Nobody needs an arrest on their record because they got in a fight back in highschool.

yeah i dont remember the cops breaking up fights in school, hell i never saw them do anything. the only time i saw them out of their office was during class when the halls were empty

We had a Black school cop with a hair helmet. He was married to a white woman that he later beat and got himself kicked off the force. But that dude used to ache to get physical with a young punk.
