as someone who's family stays in the Midwest, the north outside of Chicago, NYC and DC (if you count them as the "North") is just as bad as our mid sized cities down here (shyt the hoods might be worst up there)
They just are. From a general level, their more materialistic than spiritual and as a Black person, that's a mean for disaster in this white man's world. Regardless of how successful you think or have achieved.
More jobs up North. Especially Northeast. The racism is bad in both areas. It's hardly upfront nowadays outside of the very deep South. I agree with the rest.
It isn't really that bad outside of the country. That goes for all races but both places aren't ideal for AA. Nowhere in this country is. It is just sustainable at best. The South and the North and you gotta take a lot of shyt in both places. The West is no better.
