I kind of feel conflicted because I used to think what Anthony was doing on that show was comedy. And I'm the first to think that comedy has no rules. But it is now clear that it was not comedy and leaves me conflicted on where Patrice fit into all of this- I mean he had to have known that this wasn't a schtick.

Yeah, almost every episode Patrice called him a whitebread racist mfer. He was letting you know pretty straightfoward.
Some comedians are not necessarily racists but incorporate racism into their bits like Sarah Silverman or Lisa Lampeneli.
Others are genuinely racist but don't incorporate it into their sets, they just get exposed later like Michael Richardson (Kramer from Seinfeld).
Then there are some that are racist, but use racism in their comedy so it makes the casual listener not understand they are truley racist.
This last type is where people like Anthony Cumia and Adam Corolla are in.

If you really listen you can hear where the comedy stops and their actual views leak in. Its these type that are usually not that funny as well cause they get preachy.

Patrice wasn't an idiot. He knew and referenced the sites like N*ggermania when he was in studio, through it's as far as confrontational as he got with it from my perspective.

Sad we'll never find out how he truly felt since their whole little circle is when it comes to Cumia's racism.
