That was heartbreaking to listen to and watch. Just imagine what could have been if they hadn't been ran off and killed. They could have potentially created generational wealth to pass down to future black families.
The whitewashing of history in that library wasn't shocking. One aspect of white supremacy is white washing their crimes and history to either not make themselves look like monsters, generalize their crimes in a minimum, vague and non effective way, or to downplay what they actually did.

Right cause of white washing. The push for more black teachers is meaningful, but letting those black teachers teach real, non-white washed history is something white people in power will never let happen cause of white guilt and damage to their white ego.
