No matter what you are supposed to be the adult in the situation and hes throwing a tantrum as though he is a child. How can you say 'i want to be here' while saying you don't care what happens to the students at the same time?
He clearly doesn't want to be there anymore and he's stuck because if you have an education degree teaching is pretty much your only option. Hes not cut out for this kind of work and needs to do something else.

I had one teacher reach that point. I was an a$$hole and wasn't even top 10 worst students in her class. It was an art teacher and one day she just straight yelled out "I can't take this shyt anymore. They don't pay me enough to deal with you motherfukkers" then grabbed her shyt and bounced. Had a replacement teacher the rest of the year.
