Why am I tagged smh? Some of them learn to do their kids hair, and some of them will try to use white practices on their kids hair. Years ago my son had a white nanny, who was married to an African man. She had biracial kids and she was actually always asking me for tips on how to do their wear and wrap it up at night. And yes her kids hair looked fukked up a lot when I first met her, but overtime she got better. The problem is she mainly had white friends who had little white girls and her daughters had really coarse kinky hair. Her daughters would be sad and ask why their hair wasn’t like hers or their friends. And I’ll never forget when I had got my hair cut into a bob back then and her daughter told her mom she wanted to look beautiful like me when she’s older. Tell me why like literally a few days later, the mom got her hair cut into a bob too. Smh. Like it irked her lol.
She also had some issues similar to a lot of WW with biracial kids where she would talk shyt about white people and not want her kids around too many whites, but at the same time she would be quick to make sure everyone knew her kids were not black and did not have black hair. She also didn’t have many black female friends. I kind of got her into the fold because she got more black clients who went to her for child care because of me.
Funny thing is right before I moved from Philly she had learned how to braid her daughters hair in box braids. She had wash days and braids days lol. She was dedicated to learning.
I have some biracial cousins and their mom never did their hair. My mom used to do it, or I would do it when they came over. But their hair always looked crazy and they adopted their white moms habits of washing their hair every single day and it made their dry asf. Like I said some of them should probably listen to bw on hair... but the woman in the op’s kids look closer to their white side and have finer loser hair, so I wouldn’t have any tips or say shyt to her if I saw her out with them. I sense based on her shade toward bw and her claims of racism that she’s one of those ww who doesn’t like bw. And based on her comments about how white people are different toward her husband (yeah right lol) I’m guessing she probably identifies more with whites and that’s how she’ll raise her kids.
They’ll grow up with complexes and be confused asf. Very weird that she’s lightning their photos. That should be a red flag to her husband but he probably is one of those brehs who knows he’s with an ignorant potentially racist ww and just chooses to pretend she’s not.
