One of my biggest pet peeves is the gigantic collective whine from the general public when a minority assumes the role of a traditionally white character in a movie role. Usually in the form of, "Oh, so now 'we' have to give up our cultural icons just to make minorities feel better now?" I decided to string together a couple articles and a list to form counter arguments to these professional victims.

I never got the whole "we need a black James Bond..." Movement, I never watched doctor who in my life, but I was listening to a podcast thd other day and they were asking for a blsck doctor who, is doctor who one character or does he change every season (like a whole new doctor comes?)

Ain't james bond one character, Who is white? so why would he just turn black for some reason?

Generally I would agree but Johnny Depp has been claiming his Native American heritage for a while now.

But yeah, whitewashing isn't a new issue, and it's something that so many people don't even notice.

Yeah, I've heard that as well, the podcast people were saying it should be idris Elba next.

But tbh, the fan bros is a mostly "urban" podcast, but I still don't see the point of a black James Bond, like how will that make the film better?

Wish for better scripts before a black character. (Though I liked the last bond film), sometimes it just seems like something petty to moan about.

Usually it changes like every 2 seasons if I recall correctly

And i agree with you about the black James Bond, they were totting Idris Elba for a bit to be the next one as well.
