I think it depends. Just relating this to Bomani Jones, you can be a contractor that gets paid by the appearance which he was for a few years or you could be salaried for 4 years like he is now, and only can talk Sports on ESPN (nowhere else), living in nice apartment on South Beach. He even said on his podcast he makes alot of money now and the people in his building thinks he must play for the Heat to be living there...

Doyel is the worst of the worst...Clay Travis is getting up there on the CFB front. Passan was cool from the few times I've chat it up with him on some random being at the same sports bar in KC shyt before he moved on to Yahoo. Dude knows his baseball but he is a young snarky muthafukka but I don't hold that against him...he is one of the 'Cuse journalist school grads

Doyel is a professional troll with a platform that gets him millions of reads I cannot stand anything about him, his writing or especially his Twitter baiting.

Passan just comes off as a wannabe "big-time baseball columnist" so he takes these pretty ridiculous stands sometimes for attention. (Low key, I also hate that he only follows like 23 people on Twitter ... true sign of an a$$hole lol)

I'm not familiar with Clay Travis. I just checked him out, looks like he writes for FOX Sports? I don't usually head there for my news, but I'll dig up something of his so I have something to compare him to.
